The written accents in Spanish are á, é, í, ó, ú, and also ü in a few words (pingüino, agüita, etc). Besides, there two symbols that are not present in almost al languages: the question mark at the beginning ¿, and the initial exclamation sign : ¡.

If you have some problems with these accents, try to write them by pressing Alt, and then (with the key pressed) dial the numbers on the right part of the keyboard:

Alt+160 = á
Alt+130 = é
Alt+161 = í
Alt+162 = ó
Alt+163 = ú
Alt+164 = ñ
Alt+165 = Ñ
Alt+168 = ¿
Alt+173 = ¡

At least, that writing system work for me when I write from a non spanish keyboard...
